What is a .STM file?
STM is an early module format from Scream Tracker 2.

- Scream Tracker was written by Sami “Psi” Tammilehto of the Finnish demo group Future Crew.
- The STM format predates S3M and supported four channels of sampled audio on MS-DOS PCs.

- .STM is an identification-grade format: Analyser recognises it from its bytes and decodes the header metadata it carries, rather than opening it in a full viewer. Formats that do get a full viewer are marked "Full" on the formats page.
