What is a .DFF file?
DFF (DSDIFF) stores DSD high-resolution audio.

- DFF is the interchange form of the DSD audio used in Super Audio CD mastering.
- DFF (DSDIFF) was devised by Philips for archiving DSD masters and can carry lossless DST compression of its 1-bit stream.
- Unlike the rival DSF format, DFF has no built-in tagging, so it cannot store album, artist or cover-art metadata.
