What is a .WV file?
WV is a WavPack file, an open lossless audio format.

- WavPack can store a lossless file with a small lossy version tucked inside it.
- WavPack was created by David Bryant in 1998 and was one of the earliest lossless audio codecs, predating FLAC and Apple Lossless.
