What is a .3GA file?
3GA holds audio in the 3GPP container, often from Samsung voice recorders.

- 3GA is essentially a 3GP file holding only an audio track.
- Despite the audio-only extension, a 3GA file is really a 3GPP container and can hold AAC, HE-AAC or AMR-coded sound.
- The format became familiar through the voice-recorder app on older Samsung and LG phones, which saved memos with the .3ga suffix.
