- Did you know
- SNB was the e-book format of China’s Shanda Bambook e-reader.

- The format was released in China around 2011 and saw little adoption beyond the Bambook itself.
- What Analyser reads
- Identify and read more document, ebook and publishing files: Scribus (.sla/.scd version, pages, fonts), MS Works and Windows Write, Word 97 templates (.dot), StarOffice 5.x binary docs, Shanda Bambook and Sony BBeB (.lrf/.lrx) ebooks, FrameMaker, document templates and legacy PageMaker.
- Depth of analysis
- .SNB is an identification-grade format: Analyser recognises it from its bytes and decodes the header metadata it carries, rather than opening it in a full viewer. Formats that do get a full viewer are marked "Full" on the formats page.
- Open a .SNB file
- Drag a .SNB file onto the Analyser home page (or tap to pick one). It is identified entirely in your browser - nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works offline once installed.
