What is a .PCK file?

PCK bundles a Godot game’s assets and scenes into one package. Created by the Godot engine.

Did you know
  • Godot ships a game’s data as a PCK pack alongside the executable.
  • A Godot PCK is identified by its “GDPC” header and stores an MD5 checksum for each packed file.
  • Developers can embed the PCK inside the game executable, or ship it separately as a downloadable patch or mod.

Depth of analysis
.PCK is an identification-grade format: Analyser recognises it from its bytes and decodes the header metadata it carries, rather than opening it in a full viewer. Formats that do get a full viewer are marked "Full" on the formats page.
