What is a .PcbLib file?
A .PcbLib is an Altium Designer PCB footprint library - the land patterns (pads, courtyard and silkscreen) that components solder to. Created and opened by Altium Designer.
- Did you know
- What Analyser shows you
- Open Altium Designer schematics, circuit boards and projects in the browser. Analyser reads the OLE compound-file streams of schematic documents (.SchDoc) and symbol libraries (.SchLib), and PCB documents (.PcbDoc) and footprint libraries (.PcbLib), and rebuilds the geometry as an interactive vector view: schematic symbols, wires and pins, or the board outline, copper, pads, tracks and arcs - with pan, zoom and per-layer visibility toggles. It surfaces the component part numbers, datasheet and supplier links, the pad table and the layers used, reads the project manifest (.PrjPcb) with its member documents, and decodes the SamacSys ECAD Model wrapper (.epw). Nothing is uploaded.
- Open a .PcbLib file
- Drag a .PcbLib file onto the Analyser home page (or tap to pick one). It opens entirely in your browser - nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works offline once installed.
