What is a .CDXML file?
CDXML is the XML form of a ChemDraw chemical structure.

- CDXML stores a drawn molecule as readable XML.
- CDXML is simply ChemDraw’s CDX format re-expressed in XML, so anything that fits in a CDX file can also be stored as CDXML.
- ChemDraw was originally created in the mid-1980s and is today developed by Revvity, the former informatics arm of PerkinElmer.
